American Standard Toilet: A Review of the American Standard Champion 4 Right Height Elongated Toilet

I always admired my sister's house, that American Standard had a bathroom, and I thought it would not be a bad idea to get one for mine. So I skimmed the milk through the net and found the American Standard Champion 4 toilet elongated correct amount for sale on Amazon. Now I'm writing this review after a few weeks of observation, and I want to share what is this model and what I have to say.

General Description

First, to warnthose who are looking for a toilet that the product is labeled at the right height because it is usually larger than the standard model. This is a big change for me because I have always been obliged to do one of the standard height, despite my tall. But for those who are average height, I do not think you should get this model because it fits a little 'over to you. My sister, who has an American Standard bathroom has a standard height in the bath house, but theBathroom bathroom bedroom is a model of elevation right for her husband, who 6'3''ist. You get the picture of this model should now who does not?

The right size height and a brand of American Standard toilet is 16.5'', relatively higher than the standard 14-15''Höhe of most toilets. The bracket consists of a fine porcelain glass material that has a smooth and stylish look that fits perfectly to the bathroom. There is no doubt about the beauty of this The model. The two-piece bowl and tank is coupled together to offer perfectly matched to the other for optimal use.

Product Features

American Standard is technically their toilets very functional and durable. One of the features I like about them is never toilet clean surface, the growth of mold and bacteria inhibits the toilet. This is a nice feature, but I think it has some impact, because they were not cleaningToilet> too often, but the shadow is still completely white and smooth. I think it has really some kind of effect on the surface.

There is also the Champion 4 Flushing System performance platform, flushing much easier and more optimized. This feature also promises no wooden shoes, which, although it is still too early to say, I have not yet experienced. The 4 is not "adjustable, piston action Accelerator flush valve also makes cleaning easier, because the lever is very easy topress, and it's not as easy to break. I have experienced some flush levers that when you flush too hardly with completely snap, but this has retained its intactness despite my heavy hand. The flush lever is also chrome-plated so you won't see any signs of corrosion or wear on that. It will remain shiny and metallic, and the entire look of your toilet will stay as beautiful as if it were new. The Speed Connect tank and bowl coupling system makes sure that the two pieces of the fixture be firmly linked together, eliminating any possibility of rocking, dismembering and crushing.

Other Features

The toilet is very nice and clean, white color, but there are other colors such as linen shade of a dirty white to beige, cream and meaty bones of a color and select black for a striking and unusual lighting. The white man is what I do because it fits perfectly got my bathroom. It 'very smooth andclean in appearance and it makes my bathroom much more beautiful.

The flush of this fixture is ultimately designed for low consumption so you can save water but still make sure that everything is flushed down properly. The 2.375'' fully-glazed trapway is definitely big enough to allow the biggest load to be smoothly flushed away and through it. Together in the package come two color-matched bolt caps for the best aesthetic value. However, you have to take note that the toilet seat and cover are not included with this model. Only the toilet itself and the flush tank are in the product package.

Conclusion

For those out there who are looking for American Standard toilets but are not ready for the right height, be careful of getting models like the American Standard Champion 4 Right Height Elongated Toilet because it might not be able to provide optimal comfort for average heighted individuals. Nonetheless, I am very happy with this new toilet and I'm definitely satisfied with its height and features. Not only is it very aesthetically nice, it's also durable so I won't have to change my fixtures for quite a long time. If you're also in search of a good toilet and you're tall and lean like me, this is the model I would certainly recommend and I know no one will be disappointed with it.

Maintaining a household unfortunately involves doing some tasks or jobs that are very unpleasant. Five of the jobs, and how to do them as painlessly as possible are:

1. Cleaning up Mouse Droppings:

Supplies needed

* face mask,
* disposable gloves,
* paper towels,
* adequate ventilation,
* a plastic trash bag,
* spray sanitizer

Method:

1. Wear your face mask and gloves
2. Use the paper towels to gently wipe up the droppings
3. Dispose of feces in the towel and plastic bag.
Sterilize the area 4
5 Place the mask and gloves in a plastic bag and
6 Properly disposed of.

According to the cleaning of the litter:

The necessary accessories:

* Cat Box Liner
* Litter Scoop

1. If a spill is fresh sprinkle one part cinnamon to 6 parts salt over the spill-later when oven is cool wipe up the mixture the spill is absorbed up in the salt and the cinnamon takes away the burned smell.
2. Clean a baked on spill apply a paste of baking soda (or borax) on the area-give it a little time to work, and then wipe up the spill, repeat if needed. Sometimes a little elbow grease helps. Allow the baking soda/borax paste to have time to soften and absorb and you will save yourself a lot of effort
3. For a dirty oven place a shallow pan of ammonia on the top shelf and a pan of hot water on the lower shelf.
4. Close oven and let set overnight. In the morning wipe down oven with an all-purpose cleaner or spritz it with a mixture of baking soda and water.
5. Dry the oven thoroughly before putting the shelves back in.
6. Place racks in large plastic trash bag, toss in an ammonia soaked rag, seal the bag tightly and put the back outside over night. In the morning rinse well and dry, then replace racks into oven.

4. Clean the Toilet:

Supplies:
* Toilet Bowl Cleaner,
* Toilet brush,
* All-purpose cleaner
* Paper towels or rags.
* Disposable gloves, if desired.

Method:

1. Spray all-purpose cleaner on the inside and outside lid, wipe down.
2. Spray all-purpose cleaner on top and under side of the seat, wipe down.
3. Use bowl cleaner, apply as directed; usually under the rim, close seat and cover and allow the cleaner to do its work.
4. While the toilet cleaner is working (with the lid closed) Use your spray cleaner and spray the outside of the toilet: the top, the sides and along the edge. Use your rag to wipe down all surfaces of the toilet.
5. Lift the lid and seat, use toilet brush to swish the solution and water,
6. Flush.

5. Cleaning Cobwebs:

Supplies:

* Vacuum,
* Long-handled broom or micro-fiber dusting wand.

Method:

1. Use the vacuum attachments and vacuum the ceilings, over the windows, and anywhere else there are cobwebs. The thought of the cobwebs, along with 'yuck' of the job makes this task seem harder than it actually is.
2. Always start at the top of room and work down, in this way the dirt and cobwebs and the have no choice but to go down!
3. If you do not have a vacuum with attachments your next choice is either the broom or dusting wand, which ever you have and prefer.
4. Use enough force with the broom or wand to dislodge the cobwebs and bring them down, but not enough to send them flying across the room.
5. Clean your broom or wand often, by shaking them outside or vacuuming
6. Vacuum to pick up all the dust and residue off of the broom or wand.

Potty Training Boys - How To Potty Train Boys - Do You Teach Them to Sit or Stand?

I am asked this question by many parents - everyone wants to know whether to start potty training boys to urinate standing up or sitting.

While there is definitely a right way or wrong way to potty training a boy, experts recommend that most banal of training the young child must be potty trained sitting. Even the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends to encourage and teach the child to urinate sitting boy.

The main reason for this recommendation is to keepthings simple by teaching them to sit for both urination and bowel movements. Other reasons include the logistics involved in managing the equipment for both types of training and the effort required to clean up while they learn to aim properly.

Keep it Simple and Bowel Movement Training: Most parents would agree that potty training your toddler son includes not only teaching him to urinate in a potty or toilet, but also to make bowel movements in the potty or toilet. And for bowel movement training, you will have to teach your toddler son to sit down on a potty or the toilet.

So, then if you decide to teach your son to pee standing up, you will have to teach him to have a bowel movement sitting down - that means teaching your son two different things. This can get confusing for a toddler.

Let's take a look at the potty training process in detail from the child's perspective.

It starts with body awareness and the ability to associate a feeling of fullness with the need to eliminate and the result i.e. a BM or urination. This awareness starts at about age 1 and until now (for the last 1-2 years), when you child has this feeling, he simply goes ahead and eliminates in his diaper or pull ups. Now you want him to learn that when he has this feeling he has to stop and find his way to the potty. Then he has to remove his clothing and then sit or stand on the potty depending on which feeling he has and then eliminate.

So, from your child's perspective you are already asking him to do a lot - and by trying to teach your child to stand while urinating and sit while having a bowel movement, you are asking him to only learn and identify the feeling of fullness, but to differentiate the two feeling and make a decision to sit or stand.

Having said that, bowel movements usually occur with urination, and if you child is sitting down to urinate, he may have a bowel movement at the same time and thus make the whole potty training process a lot easier.

Equipment Logistics and Clean Up Efforts. What will you use - a potty, a urinal or the toilet? Which one for which? A potty is probably too low to the ground to use for urination from the standing position. A urinal for pee and a potty for bowel movements? Maybe the toilet for both?

If you decide to use the toilet for both, you will need a step stool. You will also have to work out the details of the toilet seat & toilet seat reducer. (You may want to purchase the reducer that attaches permanently to the toilet seat.) Do you teach him to remove the toilet seat reducer and lift the toilet seat? Or do you just leave them there because it is more convenient, but will be harder to clean?

Where will you do the potty training? Since the toddler is just learning, his aim will be off and initially he may also probably also dribble, so there is a good chance of over spray and mess. For this reason, if you may decide to teach your son to stand when urinating, you will want him to learn in the bathroom. Be prepared to do some extra cleaning in the bathroom and around the toilet bowel for a while until your toddler learns to aim.

Having said all this, by the age of two and half or three, children become interested in the concepts of gender and boys will begin to imitate their fathers or older brothers. So, you may find that your child wants to be like daddy or like his older brother and will insist that he urinate while standing and not sitting. If this is the case, then let him stand. It is not worth a power struggle. Work on teaching him to urinate first and then work on bowel movements.

Last, but not least, if your child is in day care, then make sure that you are potty training him the same way that they are. Some day cares insist on teaching boys to urinate standing and so make sure that both of you are teaching him the same thing!!
